On Saturday, June 3rd, 2017, students, alumni, and friends gathered for the annual OSU College of Pharmacy Professional Day. This event provides OSU pharmacy students a chance to network with pharmacists from various practice settings and learn about opportunities available within the pharmacy profession.
Students and alumni gather for the Entrepreneurial Academy Business Case Competition
Two teams presented their business plans for the Entrepreneurial Academy Business Case Competition. The judging panel included Penny Reher (’82), Kevin Russell (’93), Kate James (’01), Michele Belcher (’86), and OSU College of Pharmacy Assistant Clinical Professor Adriane Irwin.

Following the Business Case Competition, run by the OSU chapter of Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) student president, Olivia Stewart (’19), allowed students to learn from pharmacy professionals from a wide range of backgrounds during the Q&A Panel. The panel included Lincoln Alexander (’15), Doug Butler (’88), Joseph Ennesser, Josh Free, Chris Mellon, Sitel Patel, and Andrew Pelie (’09).

For further questions and answers regarding career paths in pharmacy, students utilized the “Quick Conversations” event, run by the OSU chapter of American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) student president, Devon Heisler (’20), to have small group discussion time with individual pharmacy professionals from those fields.
