2016 White Coat Ceremony


White Coat Ceremony, Class of 2020
On September 27, 2016 the College of Pharmacy welcomed the Class of 2020 into the pharmacy program during the annual White Coat Ceremony. The students invited family and friends to the ceremony where they took the Pledge of Professionalism and were “coated” with their first white coat by faculty members.
Jill Yep (’89), interim Devision Director of Pharmacy for Albertsons-Safeway Pharmacy, spoke to the students about the important path they are embarking upon and the impact they’ll be able to make in the lives of their patients. Zach McCall (’06), recipient of the 2016 College of Pharmacy Outstanding Young Alumni Award, also spoke to the students about professionalism and the importance of lifelong learning.
