2011 Icon of Pharmacy recipient Vince Whiting and his wife Amira Whiting recently gifted the OSU College of Pharmacy a copy of the book A School for the People: A Photographic History of Oregon State University, signed by author Lawrence A. Landis. Landis has been an archivist at Oregon State University for over two decades. His book features over 500 pictures, documents, and in-depth captions describing several aspects of the past life at Oregon State University. This book is a wonderful addition to our archives. Special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Whiting for their generous gift. The book is a wonderful depiction of life at OSU throughout history and we would be pleased to share it with you.
