The annual OSU Women in Pharmacy luncheon on Friday, May 13th, 2016 was a fantastic gathering of valued alumni and friends of the College. The event was held at the Historic Old School Cafe in Corvallis Oregon.
Paige Clark (’85), OSU College of Pharmacy Director of Alumni Relations with Susan Poole (’69), RPh
The group discussed current initiatives including the group’s decision to sponsor orange pharmacist’s license frames for our future OSU graduates, with the goal of increasing the visibility of our graduates throughout the pharmacy profession. The group also made plans to hold next year’s luncheon at the new Collaborative Life Sciences Building (CLSB) in Portland and transition between Corvallis and Portland on alternate years.
Women in Pharmacy members gather together to discuss current and future projects over lunch.
Mark your calendar for next year’s luncheon on Friday, May 12th, 2016 at 11:30am in Portland at the Collaborative Life Sciences Building. This will be a great time to visit the new building and see the collaborative environment our students share with OHSU Medical, Dental, and Nursing students.
If you have any suggestions for future initiatives or would like more information about the Women in Pharmacy group, please contact Paige Clark.
