This program is open to current U.S. citizens, as well as U.S. residents employed at a domestic institution, who are eligible to apply for U.S. federal research grants (or will soon be eligible). This may include junior faculty, postdoctoral scholars, and advanced graduate students who have specific interests in Arctic oceanographic research.
Please note that due to the international travel required for this program, selected participants must have a current, valid passport that will not expire before February 2025.
Also note that cruise participants will be required to complete safety training and medical questionnaires in accordance with NSF/UNOLS and U.S. Coast Guard requirements in effect at the time of the cruise.
