We choose the current technology of Node.js Javascript and MongoDB because we are familiar with those technologies and would like to broaden our knowledge with it. There are plentiful of resources out online where are able to search how to do certain things when needed. We have the MongoDB for the database, Express and Node.js for the backend with React and Javascript for the front end. This is essentially a MERN stack that we learned back in Web development.
Currently, I am not upset with the current UI I feel like there is a lot more work that needs to be done for it and still trying to figure out the interactions between the webpages and etc. I feel like I can make the UI more user friendly by adding better buttons or make the overall webpage more bright. At the current moment it feels dead. Choosing a theme color is definitely tough since I’m trying to see what other people gravitate towards.
