This week we completed the system requirements task, which is a good start. Everyone contributed their ideas. My teammate Naomi, in particular, is a very organized teammate, and everything we do is based on the framework she wrote. She contributed ideas that made it easier for us to get the job done. The system requirements clearly outline what the application we are going to design will look like. We decided to launch a web-based version of the application and wanted it to link to the university’s database. And we finally had a 30-minute meeting with the marquee sponsor. I think she is a very friendly and practical person. She continues to inspire us, rather than limit us, early in our requirements documentation. I thought it was a great guide. She would answer our questions and expand on them, leaving us to get to the heart of the matter ourselves. In the following work, we had to assign each person’s specific work, which was not an easy thing. We had to put forward our own ideas and make the reasonable allocations. There were many areas with different functions in the project, and we needed to make a preliminary design with the technology and language we were familiar with.
