Blog post #9 (new 1)

I have now returned to the United States. This is about two years ago. I returned to China because of the epidemic. It should be March 2020. When the epidemic continued to ferment, I bought a ticket to return to China. At that time the epidemic had just arrived, especially since China had just experienced the epidemic, people were still very afraid, When I went back, I was also fully armed, and brought three masks and gloves to try to protect myself.

At the time, China’s quarantine situation was very strict. I was taken to the hotel for isolation when I got off the airport. I was quarantined for about 14 days in total.

The actual situation is like this picture and there are even ambulances around

It’s a bit uncomfortable to come back here after two years, because life in China is really very different from that in the United States. The most straightforward feeling is that there are fewer people here, especially at night. On the contrary, in China, it’s only at night. It’s the busiest time. People start to relax in the evening after finishing their day’s work. In the evening, various entertainment activities slowly begin to appear. In China, I often eat and drink with friends until 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning.

Because I’m quite busy in China, I just came here to study and my time is pretty free and boring, maybe it’s just lonely here, which made me feel quite emotional.
