Objects In Mirror May Be Closer Than They Appear

I am revisiting GitHub this week after it and I parted ways for a year while I worked directly on the school’s servers to submit projects. It’s really interesting how easy the setup just clicks now. I remember being so overwhelmed by it last time – Git, Git Bash, GitHub Desktop, Push, Commits, Pull Requests (I hardly think about how little intuitive sense that naming makes now). Things feel more fun, and I’m a lot more eager nowadays. Learning about myself through code.

I’m having a similar experience with Heroku I struggled with this just under a year ago and literally gave up as I was putting together a brief guide for myself as I went through the process. The last line I wrote in my personal guide was, “omg…this all sucks.” Similarly, it all clicks this time around.

It’s amazing how far you can go but feel as if not much time or cross-learning has occurred.
