Here’s the latest batch of films digitized from U-Matic and VHS, released on July 12, 2016! And while this particular batch is rather eclectic, you’ll see they all have to do with athletics in one way or another.

- “Commitment to Excellence,” ca. 1980. (0:20:49) OSU Beaver Club promotional film featuring game and practice footage, as well as interviews conducted with administrators and coaches including Jim Rudd, Dee Andros, Sylvia Moore and Ron Ludwig.
- OSU Rifle Team Feature, February 1980. (0:22:05) Includes interviews with students on the team and their faculty advisor, as well as team members demonstrating their riflery skills.
- OSU Women’s Basketball vs. University of Oregon, January 15, 1982. (0:57:41 – first half only) Played at McArthur Court on the U of O campus, this was the first women’s athletic event in state history to be broadcast live on television. The final score was Oregon 63 – OSU 60.
- USA vs. USSR Freestyle Wrestling Meet, March 28, 1986. (1:48:09) This meet, hosted by OSU at Gill Coliseum, included matches between multiple Olympians, World Champions, and NCAA champions. Footage includes former OSU wrestler Howard Harris in competition.
- OSU Collegiate Rodeo Competition – Final Round, March 1, 1987. (1:04:09) Final round of a National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association event hosted by Oregon State University in 1987. Teams competing include the OSU Rodeo Club as well as multiple community college rodeo teams from Oregon and Washington.
- Pac-10 Track and Field Championships, May 1987. (0:10:29) Footage of the conference track championships hosted by OSU at Wayne Valley Field.
