My Brand

My brand would be that I am confident and well driven. When it comes to business related events, I speak in a manner that I know what I want and how to achieve it. I am very outgoing, which is shown through my networking skills. My first impression that I present to potential employers would be that I have a good head on my shoulders. I have goals that I set for myself. Strengths of mine include being well organized, patience and determination. Something that makes me unique, is that I love both numbers and writing. What I mean by this, is since I have a minor in mathematics and I am a journalist for a magazine making me a very well rounded individual.

This information can be communicated to organizations through my LinkedIn, my resume and my cover letter. Most importantly, my situation wanted ad would be my LinkedIn and making that so companies find me as a top talent employee. My resume and cover letter are how I would humbly brag about myself and my accomplishments. My business classes throughout the years have done a great job on teaching us how to properly write each of these in the most attractive and professional way possible. I can confidently say that each of these are up to par, however there is always room for improvement in my eyes. I can reword my past experience making it sound more professional, and update my LinkedIn weekly. By perfecting these three things, organizations will be more likely to hire me. I need to be unique and creative so I can stand out from other potential employees. Since I already have a job lined up post graduation, I have not been keeping up with LinkedIn as much as I should, but that is how my situation wanted ad can be visible to prospective employers. I know once I graduate I will be much more active on the site, and make it so I can stand out as much as possible.
