Self Reflection

1. What am I good at?

Analyzing myself and what I’m good at takes a different kind of thinking. For me, I have to stop my mind from thinking a million different thoughts and wondering to different places like it usually does. I think that my skill is being able to connect and get along with people. This skill is backed up by my relatableness score from a couple weeks ago.

2. What do I value?

Having values is important because it keeps a person motivated to pursue those values. To me, I value the successful feeling after doing something difficult or working hard. This feeling only comes when I stick through things whether it be the money made from work or the awesome sore feeling I get after a difficult workout.

3. How did I get here?

The path for me has been nothing but straight. I have had to jump through hoops moving from school to school, have lived in multiple states in the past few years, and had to solve problems to get paid. All of these experiences have brought me to where I’m at. It built an energizer bunny who can’t sit still and always strives to push himself in every aspect of life.

4. Where am I going?

The path I’m on I believe is one that is currently leading towards difficulty but end result success. Ironically, I’m listening to Highway to Hell by AC/DC as I’m typing this however that’s got to be a coincidence.

I heard a quote not too long ago that changed the way I look at my path. It went “all great things in life are the direct result of some type of difficulty”. This quote really stuck with me and keeps me pursuing challenges in my life. Knowing this makes going through things that suck that much easier because I know that once the suck is gone, something great is around the corner.
