  • How is the journey so far?
    • The journey so far has been very interesting. The use of ChatGPT to fuel our project has been very exciting at times, but can also be frustrating.
  • What communication tools is your team using, and how well is this going?
    • We are using Discord to speak with each other. We have weekly meetings on Mondays at 6pm. It has been going well, we just met recently and talked about the backend portion of our project.
  • What Project Management tools is your team using, and how well is that going?
    • We have a trello board for our project, which we used initially at the start of our project, but recently it hasn’t been as useful because of our independent work routines.
  • How often does your team commit their code? Is code integrating easily?
    • We commit new code after having weekly meetings. Recently we updated our front end, and will continue committing back end code once it is available.
  • How about pull-requests or code reviews? Is this too much overhead or is it useful to your team?
    • So far our team meetings where we share our work and decide what works and what doesn’t work has been more valuable. Once we do our own troubleshooting and self code review it will be much easier to integrate and get feedback from others.
  • What about your build/debug/deployment? Is this going well, or are you spending a lot of time debugging?
    • So far the frontend has been easier to implement than the backend. We still need to decide which type of database and schema to utilize in order to develop it properly.
  • How well is your team following your original Team Standards?
    • We are following it pretty closely, each week we go over what things we need to implement and talk about our shared vision for the various things we need to work on that week.
  • Do you personally feel your part of the project will succeed? If not, what do you plan to do to get back on track?
    • Right now I’ve been working on the backend, it has been difficult because we should have had more communication on what type of database and schemas we want to implement.
  • Do you feel your project is on-track to succeed? If not, what do you plan to do to help the team get back on track?
    • The project is on-track to succeed. We just need to implement the backend and database correctly and it should work correctly.
  • What one thing would really help your team succeed?
    • More communication throughout the week and possibly working together at some point should help us get more clarification on what we need help with and our weak points.
