- Suppression Costs: Reduce suppression costs in the long run by implementing adaptive management strategies that improve the health of different ecosystems and improve resilience to fire.
- Adaptive Management: Start implementing more informed adaptive management strategies and education resource managers on the key concepts of adaptive management to effectively the idea.
- More Personnel for Prescribed Burning: Start to either create jobs focusing specifically on prescribed burning and taking care of burn piles or extend the duties of other positions in the Forest Service that are being underutilized like Forestry Technicians to be included in such tasks.
