Every Thursday (all summer too!) the Organic Growers Club will meet at 4:30-dark at their farm for work parties, free dinner will be provided. Anyone interested can request to join their list serve to receive notices on bike convoys and information about their weekly veggie sales, which are held on Fridays from 8-5.
The Organic Growers Club will also be hosting a huge event at their farm on Earth Day (April 22nd)! Busses will be available to transport students from campus to the farm, as there is limited parking available. As always, bikes are encouraged! There will be numerous activities to participate in including; the planting of 10,000 onion starts, farming demonstrations, live music, FREE food and a small farm petting zoo with goats, alpacas, baby chickens, ducks and geese. Children are welcome, however the club requests that dogs stay at home.
