Midway Through Sprint 2

The ball is rolling along. People in the group seem to be settling into their roles. There was a little bit of friction with the grader about the project plan as we omitted which tasks would be finished in which sprint. There was a little confusion about the format, I think we dealt with it accordingly resulting in full marks.

I’m glad to have fallen into a bit of a leadership role. I tend to start extremely early on the assignments and work, and such have been able to inform the team on multiple occasion on the direction we should be heading in. Very satisfying. and People seem to following the lead as it seems what I know and suggest is reasonable.

I’ve been able to effectively tackle the tasks for this sprint so far. The penetration test was quite simple and the patch was reasonable. I don’t know how beefy they want the report to be but i have a rough report for the sprint finished, I will continue to add to it.

BEYOND THE DEGREE:

Preliminary research has continued in Chemical Computing. I reviewed Hamiltonian equations, they aren’t as intimidating as expected. I remember a lot of the lectures i had in my previous degree. The main takeaway is that it uses a blend of classical mechanics and quantum theory to represent energy levels of particles, assuming things like harmonic oscillation, rotational forces etc. The theory is generally the same as the old physics diagrams, calculating the conversion or total of kinetic and potential energy, but instead of mass of kilograms, they are subatomic particles.

No software yet, but I’ll dive into that soon.
