Hello! My name is Beckett Lewis and I’m entering my senior year at Oregon State majoring in Computer Science. I’m in from the Portland OR area. I actually started as a chemical engineering major but after taking an introduction to computer programming course I ultimately decided that CS was the major for me and made the switch. Over the summer I completed a software engineering internship with Ren Energy Global, where I mostly worked on backend web development.

When I’m not programming I love doing things outdoors, especially hiking and bouldering. I was able to go on some great hikes this summer, with my favorite being the Forbidden Cliffs on the Oregon Coast. Here’s a picture I took of the cliffs:
