After many years of sharing monthly log price updates for Lane County, it’s time to say goodbye to the Woodland Roots blog. Unfortunately, we’ve reached a point where too few log buyers consistently return our calls, making it difficult to provide timely and reliable pricing information.
While this report is ending, there are still several ways to stay informed about the log market. Woodland owners can contact local log buyers directly to discuss current prices and market conditions, or subscribe to one of the paid forestry newsletters or trade publications that provide regular market reports and industry updates.
If you’re looking for help finding forestry resources in the area, you’re always welcome to reach out to me. I’m happy to help connect woodland owners with available information, answer questions, or point you toward additional resources.
