This week I learned a lot about different ways of thinking about what design really means. I took a lot away from chapter 3 of The Shape of Design and quoted it in both my cards and my in class discussion. I loved the idea of spreading ideas to get your momentum going with our extinguishing your own flame. Empathy was a big theme that I noticed as we started our innovation project this week. We have learned to look beyond the answers that people give us and think about their emotions and body language as well. I think this will be really helpful moving forward with the class.
