Admittedly, I’ve been quite busy this past week and a half. I wasn’t able to complete as much for the capstone project since the midpoint. I did do one peer review on github, and it was quite a hefty part of the codebase, so I took some time to get familiar with what the code was doing, and how it fits into the rest of the code structure.
Some goals I want to get done this week are to do more work on some Admin page sections in our mobile app. Right now, there is some dummy code to test displaying data from our Firebase backend, so I’ll most likely go ahead and get some UI styling done first, and then display the data last.
Our app is also looking a bit junior, style wise, and a bit inconsistent since our team split up and worked on various parts of the application, so text styling/color themes should be consistent. Although this could be done at the end, I’m constantly thinking about just getting some of that work done so it also looks nice while testing it out.
The project we need to complete this coming week for the Mobile Dev elective is also looking to be quite a challenging one, so splitting time to do that project, and this capstone one should keep me quite busy this week, and I’ll need to flex my time management skills to get things done.
