People will not recommend your product without a great product design and marketing though. Product design comes before marketing because you have to perfect your product in order to effectively marketing it long term. With a combination of these two things, your company with thrive and people will be proud to work there company.
Question 2:
As mentioned in the lecture this week some argue that recruitment and selection are the most important aspect of a company. The strengths that come with strong recruitment and selection are long-term, exceptional employees. When a company is able to attain part of the select group of great employees they will be able to accomplish so much more. If you don’t prioritize the recruitment of good employees it is difficult to be successful in all of the other aspects of business such as marketing and product development. This is why spending the extra time and money upfront is so crucial.
Lastly, the effect that attitude and dissatisfaction have on individuals within the company can really affect their work effort. Having a balanced and happy company culture comes from great recruitment. All of these aren’t able to happen if the time and energy are focused more on other aspects of the business.
Advantages of putting time into other aspects are being able to learn the processes of good marketing and product development. This will hopefully lead you to great brand recognition like Apple. I believe that every company has to start with great recruits. Then, later on, after mastered other aspects, they may not have to spend as much time and energy on that. Overall I think the biggest positive of prioritizing other aspects is the extra money available to put into those as well as time.
