I want my first impression to be very personable. It is important for the employer to see that I am a hard worker with diverse skills. I also want them to know that I am able to adapt to any situation. These things are very important to my values. I want my potential employer to know they can depend on me and that I am good for my word. These are things that I value in others and respect. I would say that my strengths are that I can do anything I set my mind to. I am also good with people and have a great understanding of customer service. These things have helped me in many aspects of my life with things like family, friends, and job positions. Something that I am working on is to be able to trust other people to complete work to my standard without me micromanaging. I have found that I am not good at trusting others to complete tasks. Lastly, I think that I stand out because of my work ethic and ability to communicate very effectively.
A way of communicating all of the information above to employers would be through websites such as LinkedIn and Handshake. There are great platforms when it comes to showing your experience. Posting on these platforms regularly helps with your credibility and transparency with potential employers. By following your potential employers and being active on their page as well you have a better chance of being noticed by them. Having letters of rec is another great way to show the individual you are and what you will bring to the company. I know from my experiencs in the past that goes a long way. I also know that connections within the company can get you very far as well. The last way that I can think of when it comes to communicating your brand is through a cover letter. Cover letters give your resume a more personal touch letting them know the kind of person you are. This can set you apart from other candidates in the interview process. I really believe that if you work hard others will notice and just from word of mouth your brand will be seen and heard.
