Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog following my summer internship! My name is Lexie McDaniel. I am a senior at OSU finishing my online degree in Horticulture. This summer I have been given a great opportunity to work at Hermiston Agriculture Research and Extension Center. I will be helping with two internship projects. One is with Dave Wooster working with invasive aquatic invertebrates. The second project I will be helping Lauren Smith with her research on bees and how restored lands affect them. Though these projects are not directly related to my field I feel that this will provide great experience in my future career. I am excited to document and share my summer with you!
