What is Academic Advising?

Academic advisors help students navigate the educational system and requirements at OSU.  They are great resources about majors, extra-curricular activities, and policies and procedures you will need to know in order to be a successful student.  Advisors are partners with students.  As a student, it is your responsibility to make regular advising appointments and keep up with your major and baccalaureate core requirements.  The College of Engineering recommends seeing your  advisor at least once per quarter.
