This is my last term for this program, and starting at the beginning of this term, I decided to be a full-time student. Before this term, I was a middle school teacher in a public school in Texas. Technology played a very important role in my classroom. I always tried to find the best technologies to engage my students. From a teacher’s point of view, my favorite teaching technologies are Edpuzzle and Gimkit. Edpuzzle was very useful when introducing new lessons to my students. It is a very easy-to-use platform. It is engaging and supports different types of learners. For example, students can learn visually with videos, and they can learn at their own pace. In the meantime, students also engage with the videos by answering questions, etc. Gimkit is a quiz-learning game for students, and it is also very popular among students. It is an entertaining and engaging technology. First, it is straightforward for teachers to create and grade. Second, it engages students with different ways to learn. They can play individually or in a group. 

For my future career, I would like to be a software engineer specializing in the educational field since I have experience in education, and I would like to apply these skills to develop online learning platforms to better serve more students.
