The job description had little to no influence on why I had applied to the position. Truthfully I do not even remember what the job description entailed. The reason i had applied was because two of my friends already were working at the motor pool on Oregon States campus. I applied for the same position they were and they had told me what a basic day was like for them. Even when I went in for an interview the manager of the motor pool explained what my tasks would be the same way my friends had explained it. After looking for more professional jobs lately I know that the job description is very important and can be very detailed with a lot of tasks listed. Id imagine the job description for my previous job was pretty straight to the point with little tasks and experience.
