Many thanks to Shared Services for including an update on the eProcurement Project in their Fall 2016 newsletter.

In Mark Johnson’s article “New eProcurement System is Bringing Benefits to Oregon State”, he shares, “This exciting initiative is just getting started, and we want to share what we know and what you can expect. The project will establish an automated purchasing system for OSU employees using an online shopping environment (known as a “Marketplace”).”

Implementation efforts for a new eProcurement system have begun!  This session will introduce you to OSU’s plans for an eProcurement system, an online shopping environment for OSU’s contracted goods and services.  Using a similar software platform implemented by many peer institutions nationwide, the online shopping environment, or “Marketplace”, will cover the entire source to settlement process including: Supplier Information Management, Sourcing & Contract Management, Marketplace & eProcurement, Accounts Payable and Spend & Performance Analysis.  Come and hear all about it!
