I’m an Oregon native who completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in Ecology at University of Montana in Missoula, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife here at OSU. I joined the Epps Lab in 2014 and have worked for the last few years primarily on a collaborative project with Oregon Department of Fisheries and Wildlife (ODFW). This project uses fecal pellets to estimate blacktailed deer numbers in various management units around Oregon. The data that we generate can be used to investigate the finer details of population structure of this elusive species.
