Critiquing a Recruitment Ad

The first impression that I tend to present to potential employers is my ability to hold conversations and build connections with people. Some of my strengths are that I am great at collaboration and working within teams, I am a strong leader and communicator, and I am detail oriented and hard working. Some of my weaknesses are that I can spend too much time double checking things to make sure there are no mistakes, I sometimes procrastinate, and I sometimes don’t know how to say ‘no’ to certain tasks. Somethings that set me apart is that I am bilingual in Spanish and I am willing to relocate anywhere.

This information could be communicated to organizations through the means of a novel or creative situation wanted ad by explaining my background, skills, and plans for the future in a creative poster form. Instead of a simple resume that employers have to look over, a digital poster would be a more entertaining way of explaining my situation. In different sections of the page there would be basic information about where I am from, what my degree is, and what profession I am choosing to pursue. In another part there could be a picture of myself and a list of my hobbies that are relevant to the situation I am trying to find work for. Although this sounds like a resume, it would be more visually appealing and explain different parts of who I am as a potential employee and how I would fit into whichever situation is needed. Overall, creating a poster that displays my strengths, weaknesses, references, and other information would allow me to digitally share the document with organizations or I could print them to hand out as well.
