The Washington Oregon Higher Education Sustainability Conference (WOHESC) is a platform for inspiring change, facilitating action, and promoting collaboration around sustainability and social justice within the Cascadia region’s higher education institutions. The conference includes educational sessions, meetups, and networking opportunities that empower participants to advance action and create change. The 2024 theme is Learning From Place: Solutions Beyond Boundaries.
The Sustainability Office, Community Engagement & Leadership, and ASOSU are excited to offer OSU students an opportunity to attend WOHESC 2024 taking place March 4-6 at Western Washington University. Up to 18 students will be funded to participate!
All OSU Corvallis-based students are eligible to request funding for this social change leadership and professional development experience. Funding will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis to students who complete the application opening on Monday, February 5 at 7pm. Accommodations, transportation, meals, and conference registration will be provided to students that are awarded funding.
