The Corvallis Sustainability Coalition seeks one or two student members for its steering committee.  The Coalition is a network of organizations and individuals in Corvallis who are working together to create a sustainable community. By participating, students will become community leaders who help set the direction of the organization and get great experience along the way!  The time commitment is 4-8 hours a month, with many opportunities for deeper engagement. 

The Corvallis Sustainability Coalition provides grassroots leadership, inspiration, resources, opportunities for collaboration, and innovative solutions to help Corvallis and Benton County become more sustainable. The Coalition includes businesses, nonprofit organizations, faith communities, educational institutions, and government entities—all committed to creating a community that values environmental quality, social equity, and economic vitality. The Coalition’s primary purpose is to accelerate progress toward a sustainable future by fostering greater communication and collaboration.
