What is SAGE?
SAGE stands for Starker Arts Garden for Education; the SAGE garden is a program of the Corvallis Environmental Center. SAGE is a one-acre garden in Bruce Starker Arts Park; the food grown at SAGE is donated to nonprofits that provide fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables to families in our community who cannot afford them. As the name states, SAGE is a learning garden and it offers three types of programs:
- Food for Families: Food is delivered to local food pantries, soup kitchens, and social service agencies around Corvallis. More than 3 tons of fresh organic produce is donated per year!
- Events and Workshops
