This week we would like to highlight a resource that not many people know about – the Oregon State Human Resource Center food pantry. The food pantry is an amazing place to go if you are suffering from food insecurity, having a tough time financially, or just need a little bit of help. All you have to do is show up!

The HSRC has an amazing, warm waiting space that is a really lively, inviting area. The food pantry has a great community vibe. They do different shopping styles each time, but pretty much you get to walk around and take what you need. The supplies you can get range from fresh produce, pantry staples, baking supplies, pet food, and hygiene supplies.

The October and November hours are as follows:

  • October 19th: 4pm-7pm
  • November 1st: 4pm-7pm
  • November 3rd: 10am-12pm
  • November 14th: 4pm-7pm
  • November 29th: 4pm-7pm
