Cascades West Rideshare, a program of Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments (OCWCOG) will be partnering with Salem Keizer Transit District and Lane Transit District on a regional carpool promotions campaign from February first through May first of 2015 themed “Carpool Karma”. The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness about carpool options, and incentivize local employees and other residents to try carpooling, or to add riders to their existing carpool.

As an intern, the Carpool Karma Outreach Ambassador will help engage local employers through presentations to community groups and will help distribute campaign materials such as posters. Other responsibilities will include helping with prize fulfillment and contact Drive Less Connect members regarding their commute-related questions. Meetings will be held in the OCWCOG’s Albany office, but most work will be done remotely and in the field.

Applications are due Friday January 16, 2015 at  p.m. For more information follow the following link Carpool Karma internship.
