Drop-in Demonstrations:

Come by anytime in the scheduled time frame to see a ~5 minute repair demo!

6:15 to 6:45 pm: Clean Green, Save Green – Whether you’re moving out of the dorms, ending a lease, or just looking for a little spring cleaning, learn how a few basic, food-safe ingredients can clean your whole home. (Leaders: Jessica Collins and Amanda Abbott, volunteers of the Waste Watchers)

6:45 to 7:15 pm: From T-Shirt to Tote Bag – With one easy seam a tank top can be converted into a handy, spacious tote bag which is especially nice for hauling veggies home from the market. Great use for tank tops which are outgrown, a bit stained or just too worn. (Leader: Sheri Puckette, volunteer)

7:15 to 7:45 pm: Bikes: From Flat to Fixed – The Corvallis Bicycle Collective will demonstrate how to properly repair a flat bicycle tire. The demo will encourage participants to get hands on experience with the repair process so that they may become more comfortable with completing this simple task for their own bicycle.  Inspecting tires, tubes and wheels for potential causes of flats will be discussed, as well as the process and tools required to replace or repair these common components. (Leaders: Members of the Corvallis Bicycle Collective)
