Oregon State University and the Department of Student Leadership and Involvement (SLI) invite applications for our newly created Student Sustainability Advisor.  This position is 12-month, 1.0 FTE professional faculty appointment. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.  Applications are due by March 31, 2013.

The Student Sustainability Advisor is charged with supporting and advising the STUDENT SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE (SSI), a program that is part of Student Leadership & Involvement.  The advisor will support the SSI in the development of long and short term vision and goals and in the implementation of a comprehensive, innovative sustainability programming model that is grounded in student development and sustainability education theory. This position supports the Oregon State University academic mission by developing engaged, reflective citizens, creating opportunities for experiential learning, and supporting the institutional strategic plan centered on healthy people, planet, and economy.
