Early discounted registration for the Oregon Higher Education Sustainability Conference ends Monday night, Dec.3 at which point prices will increase. This year’s lineup of speakers includes David Kenney, President and Executive Director of Oregon BEST.
The conference sessions have also been announced and include and a wide variety of topics and presenters such as PCC Sylvania’s Net Zero Campus Project, Creating Leadership for Sustainability in Student Affairs and Engaging Students in Personal Sustainability in Large Enrollment Classes. OSU is hosting or contributing to about 5 sessions. The conference also includes tours of Portland Roasting, the Rose Garden Arena and Widmer Brewing Co. on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 30.
