Join Bay-area sculptor Kate Stirr and Corvallis essayist Kathleen Dean Moore as they trade images and ideas about the creative impulse, sculpture and essay, the inspiration of oceans, and the resonance of art and nature. The conversation will be led by Spring Creek Project Director and poet, Charles Goodrich. Kate will show still and video images of her projects “Creatures,” “Experiments,” and “Boats and Bones.” Kathleen will read from new and published essays that speak to Kate’s astonishing vision.
