December 5, 2008

This holiday break likely will be a time of slight quiet at OSU, as it has in years past.  With summers getting busier and busier, it seems December is the only slowdown anymore.  For the Sustainability Office, January and most of the first half of 2008 will be extremely busy, mainly facilitating a climate action planning process to follow through on the President’s Climate Commitment.

In January, a series of conversations will begin around where we are going as an institution with respect to climate impact.  How aggressively do we want to pursue climate neutrality, and what does it look like?  What are the ways we can get there, and what are we doing that has put us on the path – or off?

You can join the conversation in person and online.  A new topic thread will be created on Ecologue in January and serve as a place for comments and ideas around the climate action plan and process.

And check back for more December updates, as we gear up for January!
