Hi there, I’m Danica!
I’m a Computer Science major at Oregon State University. I’m pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, minor in User Experience research, and focus area in Human-Computer Interactions. I’m basically studying to become a professional nerd.
Even though I am an Ecampus student, I call Oregon my home. When I am not studying as a full-time college student, I am working part-time as a “broista” at my local Dutch Bros. I have been there for just over two years now, and I am so incredibly blessed to have had this experience. I love my job, my coworkers, and especially my customers. My favorite drink is a small, hot americano with cream, and salted caramel and white chocolate flavors!
If you managed to glance at my home page, you will have read about my four loved ones. The first loved one I lost this year was my dear mama, in January. Since her passing, it has been myself, my father, my sister, and our dog, Poppy. As if life hasn’t thrown us enough curveballs, my sister is getting married in October, Poppy is only 10-months old, and we all have full-time jobs. Additionally, I have a wonderful boyfriend, who I will refer to as G.
My hobbies include photography, crochet, reading, thrifting, and studying the Bible.
I am a very busy woman, but I am so incredibly blessed. I never thought that I would find myself here.
