Monthly Garden Tips – Nov/Dec 2025

As we enter the rainy season, be sure to check for drainage problems during heavy rains. It’s a great time to research plantings that can adapt to naturally wet areas, or landscaping solutions that improve drainage.

In November, there is still time to plant spring-flowering bulbs, such as daffodils and crocuses. In addition, planting or moving trees and shrubs can be done in November and December. Rainy weather is also the perfect time to examine your tools, for example, thoroughly clean and sharpen clippers, organize tool storage and check that stored fertilizers are in tightly sealed containers.
