Big things are growing here in Curry County!
We’re excited to announce that our newly constructed greenhouse officially has a name: the Curry Educational Greenhouse & Garden (CEGG).
The name was chosen by our Master Gardener volunteers during this summer’s annual social gathering, a joyful event filled with food, friends, and a shared passion for growing. (You can read more about the summer social here: Master Gardeners Summer Social Event.)
The Curry Educational Greenhouse & Garden will be so much more than a greenhouse. This new space will become a hands-on hub for community learning — a place where people of all ages can come together to explore gardening, sustainability, and the natural world.
In the months ahead, we’ll be rolling out the CEGG name to the wider community as we prepare to host our first public workshops and events. We’ll also be creating a fresh new logo and visual identity to represent CEGG on future marketing materials.
What’s Next
To help guide programming at CEGG, we’re forming a new Education Committee made up of local Master Gardeners. This team will help design classes, demonstrations, and other educational opportunities for the public. More information — including how to get involved — will be shared soon.
We can’t wait to welcome the community into this new space and watch it bloom — in every sense of the word.
