On August 24th Master Garners and friends gathered at Buffington Park Pavilion in Gold Beach for a casual and fun potluck. Although it didn’t feel like summer was almost over, this was the perfect opportunity to connect with Master Gardener friends before the rainy fall weather begins.
Before the picnic, Lori Phelan generously opened her garden and pond for a garden tour.
At the social, the Curry County Master Gardener Awards for 2025 were presented and naming the new greenhouse took a step forward. The top three finalists were unveiled and voted on. Per the voting, the name for the new greenhouse is: Curry Educational Greenhouse & Garden (CEGG)!
