Hello website!

Hello there, if you’ve found your way to this blog, you’d need some background on who exactly I am. My name is Aditya Chandran, this blog will (hopefully) be dedicated to recording the many steps I take to finish the project.

I’m currently living in Las Vegas, Nevada, and therefore my time zone is in PST. I don’t have many hobbies here specific to Las Vegas, but I do enjoy playing games and watching the occasional TV show.

I first got started in Middle School, where I took a video-game design class that was based in GameMaker Studio. I recall not being that good at the course, and I’m pretty sure my final project was actually impossible to complete, but you have to get started somewhere. I continued to take the odd technology course whenever I could until my Counselor kindly informed me that none of the courses actually counted as computer science courses, it was only the last year of high school that I finally took a class that fell under the definition of computer science.

After high school, I enrolled in a local University for two years then transferred to OSU. A lot of the classes have been relatively easy for me to do (except Operating Systems I, which I found very interesting but also incredibly frustrating). Overall, I think I’ve had a relatively good time at this University, I’ve just started my fourth year now, and this will probably be the last full year I spent at OSU. Other than some Summer or Fall courses that I might need to take.

Other than that, I’m currently working for an ATM company, and I’m mostly involved in the automation of various daily tasks related to excel spreadsheets. Because of this, I have a soft spot for Visual Basic in Applications, though I do think that I enjoy working with python programs more simply due to how intuitive and broad their usage is.
