Our Community

Welcome to our Community Blog!  We hope this platform will be a good resource for student and families that are looking for information and the sense of community for underrepresented students at Oregon State University.

As the state’s land-grant and research university, our role has been one to serve.  You’ll see that in the presence we have around the state, the region and the world.  We consider ourselves the people’s university and hope to convey that sense of welcoming and belonging to not just our current students but our future members of Beaver Nation.  We hope to engage in conversations about our community, what’s happening here and how we all participate in it.

To start, here are links to our six cultural centers that assist in serving students at Oregon State.  They are vibrant, active places for all students to learn, grow and just be.  Please explore them!
