The horse arena at OSU smelled like chicken last month as nearly 240 students, staff, faculty, and their families enjoyed barbecued chicken with all the fixin’s at the annual CVM All-College barbecue sponsored by Nestle Purina.
Also filling the arena were CVM student organizations who displayed colorful posters, sold T-shirts, and chatted with students as they lined up to get their plates and utensils. Associate Dean, Dr. Sue Tornquist, handed out game sheets for the Know Your Neighbor competition. Liz Harbert from large animal reception won the prize for collecting the most autographs from the Class of 2015. Jill Ollivant, Class of 2015, won the prize for collecting the most autographs from everyone else. Dr. Tornquist created the game to help the Class of 2015 get to know people from across the college.
