Tawnie Freeman

Tawnie Freeman has joined the Department of Clinical Sciences as the new Accounting Technician. Her daily activities include placing orders and helping to process travel paperwork. She also spends part of her days as assistant to Dr. Helen Diggs, Associate Dean for Hospital Programs and Director of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Tawnie previously worked for Oregon State University in the College of Education. From there she transitioned into the Arts & Sciences Business Center for awhile before coming to the College of Veterinary Medicine. “The people here are great!,” she says of the CVM.

A native Oregonian, Tawnie was born and raised in Salem. After a bit of moving around, she has now settled back in Oregon and has spent the last three years living in Corvallis which now feels like home. Tawnie has two cats, a red Persian named Sadie and a little black kitten named Tingles. She also has two children: A daughter, Trinity, now ten; and a 5-year-old son, Trevor.
