Course Spotlight: H 301: AI in Healthcare

In H 301: Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, you’ll examine how AI is used in clinical and administrative healthcare settings. You’ll learn core concepts in machine learning and generative AI, analyze real case studies and practice assessing reliability, accuracy and risk as AI tools become implemented. Affiliated with the Healthcare Administration major, H 301 has no prereqs and is open to all majors.

Virtual Finals Survival Workshop

Week 8 is a strategic time to begin to prep for finals, so consider attending the Academic Success Center’s Finals Survival workshop on Monday, February 23 at 6 PM via Zoom. We’ll have a conversation to identify the finals and projects you’re juggling and how much time you have available to spend on each. You’ll leave with a plan to help you approach everything ahead with renewed focus and motivation! Register for Finals Survival.

Virtual Resume & Cover Letter Workshop

Learn from OSU Writing Center consultants how to stand out positively by tailoring your resume and cover letter to the job you’re applying for. In this workshop on Thursday, February 26 from 3-3:50 PM via Zoom, you’ll learn strategies for identifying important info in a job posting and adapting language and tone to show prospective employers how your skills and strengths align with the position. Overwhelmed by the myriad of career options in the health field? Join us for the Ask Alumni: Navigating Health Careers – Avoiding Analysis Paralysis, an insightful panel discussion via Zoom on Wednesday, February 25 from 12-1 PM with four experienced COH alumni who’ll share their journeys and strategies they use to navigate them, offering guidance for career decision-making challenges. Wherever you’re at, these personal stories and practical pieces of advice will inspire confidence.

Want a heartwarming way to slow down and destress for a minute or two? Come say hi to Cedar, OSU’s resident wellness dog and general good boy, and enjoy some hot cocoa in the Women’s Building Lobby on Wednesday, February 25 from 9-10:30 AM!
