Key Academic Deadlines

April 12

Last day to add a class with instructor approval (send approval to advisor)

April 13

Registration for Summer 2026 opens (no Ecampus restrictions for anyone)

April 19

Last day to withdraw from a class and get a 50% tuition refund

May 15

Last day to change the grading basis of a class (by 12 PM); last day to withdraw from a class with no tuition refund (by 11:59 PM)

may 18

Priority registration for Fall 2026 begins

June 5

Last day to withdraw from the term

Celebrate National Public Health Week

In honor of National Public Health Week, Public Health students have planned a week of fun events from Monday, April 6 through Saturday, April 11 for anyone at OSU. Come as you are, and connect with colleagues, students, alumni, and community members. On Saturday, April 11 from 10 AM-1 PM at Student Legacy Park Field 3, we’ll have our fourth annual Student/Alumni vs. Faculty/Staff Kickball for the Community game and lunch; sign up here if you’d like to play kickball (and win!). Meet with a CAFE Peer Mentor This Spring

The Center for Advancing Financial Education (CAFE) is coming to the Women’s Building this spring! CAFE Peer Mentors will offer free one-on-one appointments, self-study modules, and presentations on topics such as paying for college (e.g., billing, financial aid, scholarships, resources), budgeting, post-college financial planning, etc.  Sign up for in-person or virtual meetings with a CAFE Peer Mentor happening Mondays and Wednesdays from 2-4 PM this term. Free Tax Filing Help with VITA

In partnership with the COH, OSU Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is offering free assistance with filing your taxes along with some hot cocoa on Thursday, April 9 at 4:30 PM, 5:30 PM, or 6:30 PM in Hallie Ford Center 115. Attendees will observe a quick presentation on where to find tax forms and how to enter them, and experienced tax preparers will be there to answer any questions (pro-tip: ask if you qualify for educational tax credits).

Understanding Student Veteran Experiences Panel and Social

All are welcome to join us on Thursday, April 9 from 3-5 PM in Snell 150 for a meaningful conversation and social to unite leaders and advocates from the veteran and higher education communities. Learn directly from Student Veterans as they discuss the unique challenges veterans face, the resources that help them succeed, and the importance of continued investment in veteran support programs on college campuses. Panelists include Corey Boatwright, Nikki Gold, Angelina Stafford, Willie Elfering, and Don Phillips. If you need accommodations, please contact Military & Veteran Resources.

Knight-Hennessy Scholarship Info Session

Thinking of how to fund grad school? Knight-Hennessy Scholars at Stanford University invites you to register to attend an upcoming in-person info session on Monday, April 13 at 5 PM in STAG 262. An admission officer will speak about the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program and its admission process and answer your questions on the Knight-Hennessy scholarship experience. This scholarship aims to prepare the next generation of global leaders to address the increasingly complex challenges in our world. Up to 100 high-achieving students with demonstrated leadership and civic service will be chosen to receive funding to pursue a degree at any of Stanford’s seven internationally top-ranked graduate schools.
