Just-for-You June Happenings
Check out the COH events calendar to see what’s happening these days! Here are some coming up:
Financial Readiness Grant Program (READ!)
Effective this academic year, the Registration Hold Grant program, an extension of the Financial Readiness and Success program in connection with the Center for Advancing Financial Education (CAFE), offers a one-time grant of up to $1,000 to help students pay their OSU bill to register for the upcoming term. For the spring term, the application for this grant opens on Monday, June 2 and closes Wednesday, June 4. Please review the eligibility criteria; if eligible, apply!
Join the University Legislative Scholars Program!
University Legislative Scholars (ULS) is an experiential learning program engaging OSU students in Oregon’s state legislature. Upper-division students from majors across the university participate with university leaders, the Associated Students of OSU (ASOSU), and OSU faculty in weekly meetings on a wide range of topics with legislators, advocates, legislative staff, and other public policy practitioners who are engaged in the legislative process. No matter your career goals, this is a fantastic leadership opportunity! ULS is accepting applications through Sunday, June 15; visit the ULS webpage to learn more and apply, and contact Dr. David Rothwell with any questions.

Join the Ecampus Student Advisory Board!
Ecampus students, consider joining the 2025-26 Ecampus Student Advisory Board; applications are open through Friday, June 13 at 5 PM. This is an ideal leadership opportunity to make your voice heard and advocate for your fellow Ecampus students. Plus, you get paid; student board members earn a $300 per term! If you have questions, feel free to contact Eddie Rodriguez (Eddie.Rodriguez@oregonstate.edu).
Take the Age-friendly University Survey
As our population ages, we must intentionally create opportunities for learning in every stage of life and build environments to meet the needs of older adults. An Age-Friendly University supports the participation of older adults in all core activities of the university and includes aging perspectives in research, teaching, and community outreach. This survey is part of COH efforts to find out the degree to which our college is age friendly and how we can improve inclusivity. It’s open to all members of the college—faculty, staff, and students and takes just a few minutes to complete. If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Dr. Suzanne Segerstrom, and thanks for your participation!
